Who we are

Brae AI, Inc. ("Brae," "we," "us") provides an AI agent for accounts receivable. This page explains, in plain English, what data we handle and how we protect it.

What we access

Information you give us — your name, email, and company details.

Your business data — to do your AR work, Brae connects to your accounting or ERP system (QuickBooks Online or Viewpoint Vista) and your payment system (Stripe), and accesses records such as invoices, customers, payments, and related backup documentation.

Usage information — basic logs about how the product is used, to keep it secure and reliable.

How we use it

Only to provide and improve Brae for you — drafting follow-ups, prioritizing collections, and surfacing what needs your decision. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with other customers. Your financial data is never used to train third-party or foundation AI models.

We may use aggregated, de-identified data — which does not identify you, your customers, or any individual — to improve the product.

How the AI agent works

Brae's recommendations are grounded in your own records, and a person approves every consequential action — no message is sent and no payment is touched without your approval. Every action is recorded in an audit trail.

How we protect it

We encrypt your data in transit and at rest, isolate each company's data, follow least-privilege access, and securely store the credentials that connect to your systems. Building toward SOC 2 Type II.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your data. We use a small set of trusted service providers (for example, cloud hosting and AI processing), bound by confidentiality and permitted to use your data only to provide their service to us. We may disclose information where required by law.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, export, or delete your data, and you can disconnect your integrations at any time. After our relationship ends, we return or delete your data on request, subject to legal requirements.

Data retention

We keep your data while you're a customer and for as long as needed to provide the service, then delete it in line with our retention practices or your request.

Changes

We'll update this page as Brae grows and post the new effective date; material changes will be communicated to customers.
